Rocco Veenboer is the founder of Awakenings and one of the key pioneers of the Dutch techno scene. Since launching the first Awakenings event in Amsterdam in 1997, he has built the brand into one of the most respected techno platforms in the world, known for its powerful lineups, state-of-the-art visual productions and dedication to the culture. Today, Rocco remains closely involved with the brand as a member of the board and all-around advisor to the new directors, Fayin Lin (COO) and Tim Middelesch (CEO).
