Jorge Rodríguez is an experienced in-house legal counsel with more than 17 years of professional experience across global, highly regulated industries. After working in the energy and consulting sectors, he joined Philip Morris International ten years ago, driven by the company’s clear purpose to phase out cigarettes and support adults who would otherwise smoke in making better choices.

At PMI, Jorge has been closely involved in the company’s transformation into a global smoke-free champion, working at the intersection of regulation, innovation, and responsible commercialization. His role focuses on navigating complex legal frameworks while enabling business transformation, trusted partnerships, and compliant, scalable market execution.
