Patricia Pareja

I started my English Philology studies at the University of Barcelona and shortly after continued studying for a degree in Journalism at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.

In 2016, I joined the marketing team at Pacha Barcelona, and a year later, I also started working with SIGHT, the electronic music brand—both roles I still hold today.

In 2018, I began working as a journalist and content creator at the electronic music magazine DJ Mag Spain, where I worked for seven years, three of which I served as Editor-in-Chief. I have been the Director of Mixmag Spain for two years, and I am now starting a new role as Head of Audiovisual Content for the publication. Recently, I have also taken on a new professional challenge as a Project Manager at ConceptOne agency.

Throughout my professional career, I have also worked as a host for several conferences such as Barcelona Music Week —which took place on March 8th, International Women’s Day, and brought together leading female professionals from the music industry— as well as the International Music Summit in Ibiza and Fun Business Days in Valencia for two consecutive years.

To date, I have interviewed major artists from the electronic music scene such as Laurent Garnier, Luciano, Loco Dice, Paco Osuna, Marco Faraone, Joseph Capriati, Dennis Cruz, Miss Monique, Hugel, Chloé Caillet, and Mason Collective, among many others.

In addition, I have covered major events and festivals such as Circoloco, OFFSónar, Exit Festival, Monegros Festival, Sophie Festival, Brunch Electronik, and Brunch Electronik Festival, among others.
