Juan Arnau

Juan Arnau is one of the most influential figures in Spain’s nightlife and electronic music industry. Part of a family with a long history in entertainment, he has played a key role in the development of iconic projects such as Florida 135, Monegros Desert Festival and elrow.

His career reflects the evolution of the industry over several decades, from traditional dance halls and nightclubs to large-scale festivals and international entertainment experiences.

Continuing a family legacy spanning six generations, he has helped shape electronic music culture in Spain. In 1993, he launched the first edition of Monegros Desert Festival, which grew from a gathering of around 200 friends into one of the country’s most recognised electronic music festivals.

He is also the author of Bailar en el desierto, a book exploring his family’s history and more than 150 years of nightlife and music culture.
